He does have lots of energy, but he is also just a sweet little cuddle bug. If I sit on the floor he climbs on my lap immediately. He bonded with me very quickly (we got him from the pound one month ago). We have a huge yard and he makes it known when he just needs to run. We live in the desert so it's quite hot right now, so we do this several times a day and then go back inside into the cool.

Quinn loves to chase and wrestle with our other dogs (rottweiler, husky (her mom), and shih tzu). she’s extremely affectionate and loves to be the centre of attention. she is also arguably our smartest dog! she has beautiful brindle and white, short fur (exactly like a boxers fur). she does have seasonal blow outs like her mother but not the same amount as a husky. she is a lean dog that runs extremely fast and never runs out of energy. she does have anxiety and can be known to destroy things in the house when left alone, but we’re working on that! she is very friendly, loves everyone, and loves being petted.

Very smart dog, my wife has MS, she pretended she needed help, the dog ran to her immediately, first time, like it had been trained for years, and he's only 4 months old. Will be a great help when I'm at work. Our Daughter picked him out at an adoption event at the vets, great choice. Only downside is he seems to have the worst smelling farts of both breeds! Have a small horse pen for him for now, will have to work on fencing some or all of our 3 acres.

he is super smart , we were not able to crate him because he would escape. He don't do damage in the house as of yet but he likes to chew so we have lots of toys for him , he do get the occasional shoe or sock. He seems to be easy to train so far.

Ares us very active, super friendly, and very loving. He is a big mommas boy and never far from me. He can be very protective of his home and yard but loves to see neighbors that he knows. He does shed a lot

She is the sweetest most loving dog. Very calm and chill from the day we brought her home at 7 weeks. Smart, hunts in our yard and frequently catches prey. Great with our two young boys and loves to play with other dogs.

My Moana is a great dog, she is really different from any of my other dogs, much more energy and she hates being in her crate, but she's a great dog really protective over kids. I can't touch my siblings or yell at them without her barking at me!

I love my dog, he is so emotional, and had so much character. Very loving. I love that he doesnt ever barks, instead he'll and try and talk , he can say I love you, and can play dead. He is really smart. The only thing that can be difficult is walking, there's tons of squirrels and moles in my area and hes always trying to yank the leash and go after them.

I have owned boxers for years. But decided to get a rescue. I looked up boxsky, and shoud haw paid attention. She is so very lovable, but we have had trouble trainimg her in every direction..I have 2 grandsons.they close their bedroom doors to keep her out. When she enters a room she is like a tornado. She is extremely.hyper.to e point she could knock me over witj her strength. And she is only 5 months old Shw is a handful to walk. This breed is in need of so much attention. We are giving her up to the humane society. She needs a home with preferably an alfa male. Experienced in training dogs. Small children will be knocked down. Children should be no younger than approximately ten years.she is very loyal, happy and loving. She.just needs the right environment

When we first got our pup we were very cautious as had heard they could be a handful which goes without saying being a cross of 2 very active breeds, but she has been excellent we got her at 8 weeks and she picked up on sit and paw commands almost instantly and within 2 days was doing both on command first time, she absolutely loves children and lives happily with our 2 year old and newborn children, she is also excellent with other dogs and animals, we have a staff, rabbit and cat and she is very curious and playful with them all, she really doesn't have a bad bone in her body she has won many competitions she has been entered into already, overall I would reccomend this breed to anybody so much so that we are looking to continue the bloodline of the Boxsky with Coco, excellent family pet with children and other animals, very loving and trusting, an excellent companion

So far he has been really good just a lot of energy as well as he likes to nibble when he hops on the couch, other than that he is a beautiful and pretty intelligent dog! He doesn’t like to be alone too much, but it’s usually only bed time when he’s alone to sleep.

Aries is 5 months old and very hard headed but extremely friendly. She knows when she is doing something she shouldn't be and immediately stops when I find out. She loves to run with me and the neighbor's adolescent kid. She's not really vocal until I tell her not to do something or she sees a stranger at night in the distance. Once she gets a sniff in, she's all for pets and kisses. She definitely needs attention so I often let my neighbor's kid and my boyfriend walk her when I know I will be away from her for more than a few hours at a time. Training can be difficult in a few situations. She learned sit and back up within days, whereas stay is a little harder for her since she is SO friendly and attention seeking. Potty training has also been difficult but using different methods has started to help us. It's a lot of work learning when she needs to go, and I feel like using a bell might actually work with her since she is so quick to learn. Overall, she has been the most amazing pup. Although her breed is loving, they can be a little too energetic to be around small children unattended.

Adopted Sage from the Human Society as a “German Shepherd Mix,” at 5.5 months old, one month later received Embark DNA as a Boxsky Mix. She’s very affectionate and loving but also stubborn and vocal when it comes to telling me she doesn’t want to do something. She loves playing with toys, especially the frisbee in the backyard. Loves other dogs, people, and finds cats interesting. Loves goats milk and greenies. Not the easiest to train, but she’s super intelligent just a little scatter-brained.

what a pleasure to have this little puppy she's so smart. we have quite the schedule of playing outside running around on 2 Acres of property and lots of car rides to go visiting other fur babies. Milk-Bone minis have been amazing for training. At only 8 weeks old I thought I was in over my head but I quickly learned that she is smarter then expected and at 12 weeks old takes commands with ease. So thankful for her, can't wait to see what the future holds

She is very playful. Always curious. Wants attention, but does entertain herself well with her toys. Definitely an escape artist. Requires either privacy fencing or strong fencing with concrete lined at bottom of fencing because she WILL dig. Very lovable. Likes to pounce with both front legs, and paws at you if not paying attention when she wants it. Can see traits of laying at or on feet that a boxer has in she will lay on your feet. Can be vocal, but doesn't bark excessively. Will whine when left alone, and does seem to have seperation anxiety. Thats when is difficult to keep within fenced area. Some training was easy such as sit and lay down, especially when a treat is involved. Loves car rides. Likes to bark at leaf blower and trying to bite the air, and does the same with water hose as well. The training is ongoing. Will definitely bounce from couch to couch. Does like playing with other dogs. Yet if older dogs, she does annoy them.

My puppy is absolutely the sweetest he can be. Very smart. I was given cans of tuna/water from previous owner, as this was his sustaining life source; along with all the street garbage he could find 😒. Our first morning together, he woke me up and brought me the can! He listens very well, when he wants to; so training is ongoing 😂. He’ll also tell me when he needs to potty, and purposely be destructive or disobedient (pee inside) when he’s not getting the attention he needs. He’s so playful and loving that he won’t intentionally hurt anyone, but he’s still very much a baby and doesn’t know his own strength yet. My first day working after I got him, he literally howled & cried the ENTIRE workday...😭 ...So much that the neighborhood kids were surrounding the balcony watching him cry! Separation Anxiety...? Definitely. So now I won’t leave him home alone EVER... even though he has both inside and outside access, he wants me. 😊 Very high energy, protective, and loving; GENUINELY what we both needed 💙

GOOD GOD SHE HAS ENERGY TO LAST FOR DAYS! She is super affectionate and will let you know it. Whenever I take her to the dog park, she will immediately try to lick the face of each and every person there. As for other dogs, she's still kinda shy, but after a few seconds she'll try to get them to chase her, and she'll do the chasing. If she doesn't get attention, she WILL let you know it and you better pay attention. A simple walk around the block will do NOTHING to quell her energy. Every morning, I have to take her to the no-leash dog park and let her run to her heart's content. And yes, I do mean EVERY MORNING WITHOUT FAIL. Most afternoons, too. But my god, what a sweetheart...Pros:-Very affectionate-Very energetic-Intelligent-PlayfulCons:-Farts strong enough to knock down The Mountain-Sometimes doesn't know her strength-Loves to dig-Hates car rides-Gets along with cats, but our cats are too old to keep upBut hey, all the walking I do with her has helped me lose weight!

Got our boy as a rescue at about 4 months. He loves playing and is very affectionate and intelligent. Eats a couple of times per day and seems typical on consumption/appetite. Loves to talk and protective of his yard. Suffers a tad with leash reactivity but great with other dogs at the dog park. Strong for his size but extremely gentle with food and play. A great dog, we love him to bits!

This dog was a rescue and has been the very best dog with a calm and friendly demeanor. The dog is not hyper or overly excited except when I come home. Then he loves to run in circles after getting greeted. His favorite thing is to have someone scratch his belly. Kills rabbits on sight. Loves other dogs and people. while he does shed a lot we de-fur him once a week and brush him just about every day. He gets a bath once a month and loves water. Want a pic or two?
